Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Relinq (“Relinq”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit this website. Relinq is dynamic QR infrastructure currently in development, and this site is an early preview of the product.
We keep the data we collect to a minimum, and we are direct about what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
01 Information we collect
- Email address — only if you choose to join our launch-notification list. You provide it voluntarily through the “Notify me” form; we never take it without your action.
- Basic technical data — standard information such as server logs and aggregate, privacy-conscious usage statistics (for example, total page views). This is not used to build a profile of you.
- Security data — limited technical signals processed to verify that form submissions come from a person rather than an automated bot (see section 04).
We do not ask for, or intentionally collect, any other personal information from this website.
02 How we use information
- To send you a single notification when Relinq launches, if you joined the list.
- To understand, in aggregate, how this page is used so we can improve it.
- To keep the site secure and protect our forms from spam and abuse.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.
03 Launch notifications & form handling
Our “Notify me” form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form backend. When you submit your email address, it is transmitted to and stored by Formspree on our behalf so that we can contact you when Relinq launches.
Formspree's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. You can ask us to remove your email from this list at any time — see “Contact” below.
04 Bot protection — Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect our forms from automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. When you interact with the “Notify me” form, Turnstile runs a verification check in your browser and processes limited technical data to confirm that you are not a bot.
Cloudflare's processing of this data is described in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy / Addendum: cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy. By using the “Notify me” form, you acknowledge that this check is performed by Cloudflare on our behalf.
05 Cookies & local storage
This website aims to use as few cookies as possible. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be set by Cloudflare Turnstile to carry out its security checks. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
06 Sharing your information
We share information only with the service providers needed to operate this site — currently Formspree (form handling) and Cloudflare (security and bot protection). These providers may process data in countries other than your own, under the safeguards described in their respective privacy policies.
We may also disclose information where required to do so by law. Beyond that, we do not share your personal information with anyone.
07 Data retention
We keep launch-notification emails only until Relinq launches and the notification has been sent, or until you ask us to remove your address — whichever comes first. Technical and security data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above.
08 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
09 Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
10 Changes & contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as Relinq develops. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
